Summary

  1. MAY I SUBMIT MYSELF? You CAN submit yourself for out-of-state work, however, you CANNOT submit yourself for work within Arizona.

    • Casting Networks and Actors Access will send you opportunities for work out-of-state and charge you per submission. Read the notices carefully, as many times they are for extra work.

    • We only receive regional (Arizona) notices from these sites.

    • Should a casting director contact you, simply forward the inquiry to us.

    • If you see something regional for which you would like to submit, please send us the name of the project and the role. Do not send a link. If we can submit you, we will let you know.

  2. CAN I NEGOTIATE MY OWN JOBS? No.

    1. Doing so is against the terms of our contract. We're loyal to you and ask that you return the loyalty.

    2. They're likely booking you direct so that they can underpay.

    3. You also likely cannot track or enforce usage fees, or even guarantee that you are paid at all.

    4. Doing that spot (ex: a bank commercial) takes you out of the loop for other bank commercials for which, if negotiated through us, you would likely make a lot more money. Although we take a percentage, you make more money when we negotiate the deal for you. That’s what agents are for!
